About

You drop a letter in a mailbox and then what happens? You receive mail at home or the office—how does it get there? The answer to these questions unfolds in Systems at Work, a new permanent exhibition at the Smithsonian’s National Postal Museum.

My Role

I was contracted to create a range of VFX shots, 3D animations, and motion graphics for this project, from a cinematic journey around Earth to a large-scale simulation of thousands of individually modeled mail pieces visualizing the volume of the postal system’s daily operations.

Additional globe sequences, photorealistic CG assets, and motion graphics were created throughout the film.

Designed for a 180-degree curved display, the project presented unique challenges in scale, perspective, and visual continuity. As a solo artist, I crafted each element to deliver an immersive large-format experience, making this a rewarding opportunity to push the boundaries of visual storytelling.
